Murdaugh Murders

Many have heard of the multiple events that have occurred around the Murdaugh family name. Whether that be murders or just suspicious activity, their story is not easy to miss. These events are now starting to be called the ‘Murdaugh Murders’. Alex Murdaugh, 54, who was once a lawyer just like the generations before him, has been accused of killing his wife and son in a failed attempt to conceal his own financial crimes. Starting all the way back on June 7th, 2021 when Alex called the police to report that he had found his wife and one of his two sons shot to death on his property. More than a year had passed without any suspects identified or motives, until July 14, 2022 when Mr. Murdaugh was indicted on two counts of murder. During this time Mr. Murdaugh had been in jail since October 2021 when he was first charged with stealing from a former client. He has just recently been convicted of the murder of his wife and son, this past winter and is now sentenced to a life in prison. Not stopping there, while trying to cover up these murders Mr. Murdaugh tried to use a suicide attempt to help his older son in the whole situation. This suicide attempt was later found to be a two man job, that ultimately failed. The entire idea to his plan failed and he later turned himself into police in September of 2021 for insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and filing a false police report, which is how he ended up in jail to begin with. There are so many unsolved cases that have accumulated to the Murdaugh family and to many murders connected to their family name. If you continue to dig deeper, you will continue to find more and more of these situations and how each of them have been suspiciously covered up in their favor until now.
